Its main drawback is that it is a late-harvesting variety, which can be a problem in areas with the risk of early autumn rainfall. It also requires a very specific, late-flowering pollinator such as Peter.

• Larnaka: This is a highly regarded variety in Spain. Of medium vigor and very productive, it produces a good-quality, well-sized nut. Its harvest is earlier than Kerman, making it very attractive for many areas of the peninsula. It adapts well to different conditions and is a reliable choice.
